The Inspection Process

Did you know most insurance providers require landlords to record the condition of the property prior to the tenants moving in, and every 3 months once tenanted? Failure to comply may result in your insurance being void.

Ingoing Condition Report

Before a tenant moves into your property, we need to record and provide evidence of the current condition of your property. This is important to make sure you are covered for any future damage or repair claims against the tenant or insurance provider. We record evidence with photos, a written report and we are the only agency in town who use a detailed video to back up the written report. You can find an example of our Ingoing Reports here, and our Ingoing Video Inspection here

Routine Inspection

Based on our experience, most property management companies offer no or poor Routine Inspection reports. We promise to exceed the common reports that we found in our local market. All Routine Inspection reports include a written report explaining in detail any current or future concerns, an overview of your property, with high quality photos and a video tour (if applicable). Final Inspection Example

Remember when we discussed recording evidence before your tenant moved in? Now is the time we compare the condition of your property prior to your tenant moving out. If we find there is any change in condition of the property, we work with the tenant to rectify the situation.

We also offer Inspection only services for landlords who self-manage. For more information about our inspection process or management services, please fill in the form below, or give our team a call on 06 867 1122.
